What do you believe?
Our beliefs are best summarized in the Apostles' Creed and Westminster Confession of Faith.

What would best describe The Vineyard Church?
The Vineyard is a "presence-driven" church. We seek to fully experience the presence of God in our worship gatherings and provide a balanced approach for experiencing the empowering of the Holy Spirit. We seek to be a "Word & The Spirit" church. It's our desire to provide a "safe" environment for those who are spiritually seeking a greater understanding of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We are casual in our approach to creating a church community but passionate and reverent in our pursuit of God working in our lives.
-
With what, if any, denomination is The Vineyard affiliated?
The Vineyard Church is part of the The Vineyard, a Community of Churches, one of our nation's fastest-growing, church planting movements in America. Many people know Vineyard Churches for the worship music that has originated from their congregations. For example, Breathe, Draw Me Close, All Who Are Thirsty & More Love More Power would be just a couple songs that you might be familiar with.
There's also an international community of Vineyard churches that are connected through shared resources and mission.

General Questions
-
Do you individually recognize visitors?
Glad you asked. On your first visit, we'll parade you around in a Vineyard grape outfit and make you sing "Heard it Through the Grapevine." Kidding! At The Vineyard, we will never embarrass you or ask you to do anything strange. If you are a guest, we will not ask you to give money. We just want you to engage with God through the worship, hear the teaching and then see what is next. You can ask anyone of the leadership team for anything and they'll help you out.

What do I do with my children?
That's a great question!
Recently, we have added another service to the Vineyard weekend gatherings and the question was asked "What will we do with the children?" We bounced a few ideas around and we had to make a very hard decision to move our Vineyard Kids program to Sunday mornings and wait till we are able to restaff Saturday Night Church with a kids' program.
On Saturday Night Church, at this time we will not be able to offer child care and Vineyard Kids programs.
On Sunday Mornings at the Vineyard: We have the following programs available:
Nursery: We have a nursery which is staffed for the entire service through age three.
Kindergarten & 1st grade
Kids Commission Group for 2nd thru 5th grade.
Junior High meets on Sunday morning
Currently, our kids stay with us during the first part of the worship gathering and then are released to go to their classes before the teaching is started. As we are able to staff it, we will have a Vineyard Kids in their own worship time. -
What do I wear?
Come as you are! We have everything from polos and khakis to blue jeans. Some come in dresses, some come in shorts. We don' t look at the outward dress as a measure of our level of spiritual maturity but we do think that God is worthy of our best. So, dress in a way that honors God.
What type of music?
-
Describe the style of your worship music.
We are part of the Vineyard Music Group and so a lot of our songs are songs that have been part of the contemporary worship movement for the last 25 years. Some of the songs you hear on Christian radio were actually songs that originated as worship songs in the Vineyard churches.
