 Hello!
Thanks for checking out the Franklin Vineyard Church. We're a growing community which has a vision to transform our community and our world “one life at a time” for the glory of God. We started this fellowship out of a desire to touch disenchanted hearts with the heart of God who loves and cares for us.

There are many reasons for being disenchanted; sometimes it is through the pain of life experiences; sometimes it is just that we want more out of our spiritual journey. Perhaps it's because you haven't been able to find a community of God-followers with which you can connect. Our desire was to form a church community that shows the incredible love of God to those who are "disenchanted.”

As you will see, our church is more than a once a week worship experience. We are a community of God followers who are learning to share our lives and our journey with God together. There are many opportunities to get connected and experience God’s love here. We hope you come and check it out and find out God’s heartbeat for you! Please go to our contact page and let us know how we can serve you. We look forward to meeting you!

Doctrine

  • What would best describe The Vineyard Church?
The Vineyard is a "presence-driven" church. We seek to fully experience the presence of God in our worship gatherings and provide a balanced approach for experiencing the empowering of the Holy Spirit. We seek to be a "Word & The Spirit" church. It's our desire to provide a "safe" environment for those who are spiritually seeking a greater understanding of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We are casual in our approach to creating a church community but passionate and reverent in our pursuit of God working in our lives.

Ash Wednesday Service

Ash Wednesday this week, Feb. 22, 7:00-8:00 pm,
Formation, Reflection, Communion in an ambient, instrumental atmosphere.

Ash Wednesday is a Christian holiday (holy day) that is not a biblical requirement (like Christmas and Easter). Nevertheless, it has been honored by Christians for well over ten centuries, falling at the beginning of Lent, a six-week season of preparation for Easter. In the earliest centuries, Christians who had been stuck in persistent sin had ashes sprinkled on their bodies as a sign of repentance, even as Job repented “in dust and ashes” (Job 42:6). Around the tenth century, all believers began to signify their need for repentance by having ashes placed on their foreheads in the shape of a cross. Notice: even this sign of sinfulness hinted at the good news yet to come through its shape. Ash Wednesday is not some dour, depressing holy day because it symbolically anticipates Good Friday and Easter.

All welcome. — at Franklin Vineyard Church.

The Great Restoration

Is your faith a little rusty and in need of restoration?
Let's be honest, our faith wanes and we get overwhelmed with doubt, fear and lethargy. Let's experience together a restoration of faith for our finances, our families, our future, our past and whatever else you are believing for.

Everyone needs wisdom and everyone needs refreshment. Come . . . teach and be taught. Encourage and be encouraged. Give and receive.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16
