First Glance Pastor's Welcome
Hello!
We would like to introduce ourselves to you and hopefully have a chance to meet you personally. My wife, Kitty, and I
have been involved with the Vineyard movement for the past 17 plus years and involved on various levels of leading in the Vineyard movement. We started the Clearwater Vineyard in 1994 and moved to Franklin at the end of 2002 to plant a new Vineyard church. Our church planting journey began in our home, moved to a hotel conference room, to a school, to a sharing a facility with another church and finally into our permanent building here on 8 acres of land in the heart of Franklin.We have a big dream to see people come to a real dynamic faith in Jesus Christ and to encounter the love of a God who is pursuing us with a passion!
We are absolutely committed to seeing the heart of the Father touch disenchanted hearts here in Williamson County. We know people wonder whether coming through the door of a church will be worth the effort. Many fear that attending a weekend church meeting will be boring, irrelevant, maybe even profoundly uncomfortable. They are shocked and surprised to experience church in a meaningful and interesting way. It is easy to forget that the main point is to really connect with God, to help each other tap into the spiritual foundation of our lives. At the Vineyard Church, Franklin we are at least trying to remember that point, and we are trying to pursue it in a way that doesn’t leave others behind.
When people first come to the Vineyard they are usually surprised that everything is so relaxed and comfortable. They are also a little taken aback that so many people seem to be genuinely glad to be there. Come and check out how church might be something you were really glad to find. You will be welcome when you get here.
